Wesley College has formulated a Privacy Policy in response to the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988, amendment effective from 1 January 2004. This legislation regulates the manner in which private sector organisations, such as Wesley College, collect, use and disclose personal information collected by them during the course of their operations.

COLLECTION NOTICE

Wesley College collects personal information, such as client's name, telephone number, address and purchase history with the company.
Some of the information we collect is to satisfy the companies legal obligations, particularly to enable the company to discharge its duty of maintaining credit card security, in protection from fraud.
If we do not obtain the information referred to above, we may not be able to process your online order for the items you purchase on this site.
Clients of Wesley College may seek access to personal information collected by submitting a written request.
As you may know, Wesley College from time to time engages in advertising activities. Information received from you may be used to make an appeal to you of an up coming production. (It may also be disclosed to Ticketstar Australia solely for that purpose). We will not disclose to you personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes without your consent.
Client purchases are archived to meet the needs for a range of possible future inquiries and for historical purposes and statistics. Other personal information is destroyed as per regulatory requirements.
Any credit card information collected on this web site will be only used for the particular clients purchase order (unless otherwise requested). After the transaction has taken place, the credit card information is kept for up to 12 months, to satisfy security measures in protection against credit card theft and fraud. Thereafter this period of time, all credit card or personal payment information will be destroyed as per regulatory requirements.

This document contains the terms and conditions governing your use of this Website and your purchase of any theatre tickets from Wesley College Melbourne. 1. APPLICATION OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.1 You agree that your use of this Website and the purchase of any gift voucher or theatre ticket will be governed by these terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions").

1.2 If Wesley College suffers or incurs any loss or damage in connection with any breach of these Terms of Use you agree to indemnify Wesley College for those losses and damages.

1.3 By use of this web site you agree that:

(a) you are aware that Wesley College employs the services of Ticketstar Australia Pty Ltd to handle all theatre bookings.

(b) you understand that whilst Ticketstar Australia Pty Ltd facilitates the booking, the agreement and purchase is between you and Wesley College.

(c) you agree not to hold Ticketstar Australia Pty Ltd responsible for any refunds (with the exception of booking fees) or complaints.

(d) you understand that "Ticketstar Australia Pty Ltd" will appear on your credit card bill.

(e) you have read and accepted Ticketstar Australia's general Conditions of Sale.

2. REGISTRATION

2.1 You may be asked to provide Personal Information to Ticketstar and/or Wesley College whilst purchasing any gift voucher or theatre ticket from this Website. If you do not provide that Personal Information to Wesley College, we may not be able to sell you gift vouchers or theatre tickets, or register you as a member.

2.2 All Personal Information Wesley College collects from this Website will be maintained in accordance with Wesley College's Privacy Policy.

2.3 Wesley College will use its reasonable endeavours to maintain the security of any Personal Information that you provide. This Website has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under Wesley College 's control. However, no data transmission over the internet can be completely secure, and Wesley College cannot give an absolute assurance that the information you provide to us will be secure at all times. This excludes the use of the credit card transaction system. Wesley College uses a 3rd party gateway to confirm payment credentials and payment verification. The security of this connection under these circumstances is out of the hands of Wesley College and thus the 3rd party gateway would be responsible.

2.4 Wesley College may use techniques designed to identify fraudulent activities on the Website, such as fraudulent credit card use. If any unauthorised use of your credit card occurs as a result of your credit card purchase on the Website, you should notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

2.5 You agree that Wesley College may cancel your registration as a member and/or refuse you access to this Website at any time in its sole discretion.

3. GIFT VOUCHERS

4.1 An adult gift voucher is valid for the redemption of a theatre ticket at Wesley College for 12 months only from the date of purchase.

4.2 The same limitations as provided in clause 4.1 apply to Child gift vouchers and Child gift vouchers are only valid for redemption of a theatre ticket for admission of a person aged 18 years or less.

4.3 Redemption for admission to any particular production or session is subject to availability.

4.6 A gift voucher cannot be redeemed for cash, must not be on-sold without the written permission of Wesley College.

5. THEATRE TICKETS

5.1 Theatre tickets purchased via this Website will be available for collection at Wesley College Box Office, posted to the client (if requested/applicable) or downloadable via eTicket to the client (if requested/applicable).

5.2 Theatre tickets purchased via this Website are non-refundable, unless required by law.

5.3 A booking fee may apply to purchases of theatre tickets via this Website, depending upon the type of payment method selected. All costs and fees will be outlined before the sales is completed.

5.4 Seat allocation for theatre tickets purchased via this Website is on a "client choice" basis and is aided by a prescribed computer program. By purchasing theatre tickets via this Website you agree that:

(a) you will accept the seat allocated by Wesley College for each ticket purchased.

5.5 You agree that Wesley College may at its discretion, refuse to sell theatre tickets to you or withdraw any theatre tickets from sale via this Website.

6. CONCESSIONS

6.1 Where concession tickets are purchased or concessional gift vouchers are redeemed for theatre tickets, suitable identification must be presented upon collection of the tickets.

7. PURCHASES AND GST

7.1 Gift vouchers and theatre tickets can only be purchased from this Website by credit card or payment at Wesley College Box Office.

7.2 Prices on this Website include GST where applicable.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

8.1 You acknowledge and agree that the copyright and other intellectual property rights in this Website and in all information and materials on this Website (“Website Content”) are owned by Wesley College, its affiliates or licensors unless expressly indicated. The Website Content is protected by Australian and international copyright and trademark laws.

8.2 You agree that you will not do any of the following without Wesley College's written permission:

15.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be construed in accordance with and shall be governed by the laws in force in the State of Victoria.

Ticketstar uses the highest industry encryption commercially available to ensure clients confidential details are kept secure. This means that we consider the security of your credit card details to be of prime importance. Our payment system provides immediate connectivity to all major payment processing networks in Australia and The United States. All transactions between Ticketstar and our financial gateway occur over Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connections.
